Guide to Evony Combat

Of the  various   engaging  and unique   features  of the online game Evony, one of the most  best  elements  of the game is  doing battle .  Until you have participated in combat in Evony , you  have not   truly  experienced  Evony.

Rather than  literally moving  troops  around the map, you make text based decisions , and your  soldiers   follow your command .   Soldiers  are  created  from a barracks, and  come together  at your  rally points.  Without these buildings ,  it is impossible to fight
.
In general ,  the majority  of your battles  are often against other physical opponents .  It is  not  unheard-of, however, to  fight   NPC cities or NPC valleys.  To  conquer  these cities, you will  have to amass  a very strong  and powerful  army, as these cities are  normally heavily  defended .

After the battle , you will   be given what is  called  a “battle report” that will  tell you how the battle  went, how many troops  were lost, and, most importantly, whether or not you were  successful in winning .  If you won the  attack, you will also  be told  how  much resources you obtained , as well as how much honor you gained.

To get started  battling  in Evony,  you’ll need to  set up a rally point.  At first,  you’re only able to send out  1 army at a time, but as you upgrade your rally point,  you’ll be able to send out more and more  armies out at once .  The rally point is also very  useful  for simulating “mock battles” to  check the chances of victory  when certain troops  fight   one another.  For  instance, if your opponent  has  three hundred archers , and  you’re  anticipating bringing  eight hundred, you can simulate  the  fight  to  determine  if your troops  are enough to win .  This can be very  beneficial in the long run  for advanced  gamers.

The other  essential  building is the barracks.   When starting,  you’re very  held back to how advanced your  soldiers  can be .  As you upgrade your barracks, however, you will  find that your  soldiers  can be quite powerful .  Spending  enough time upgrading at your barracks and your academy can provide you with  a significant  battle  advantage over your  enemies.

Along with  amassing a strong   attack force, it is  also important  that you  commit time building up your defenses as well .  The best  defenses  depend on a  mixture  of defensive fortifications, such as  traps and walls,  along with a large   number of  units   positioned in  the city in  the event the defenses fail .   Along with  walls and traps, another extremely  significant defensive building is the beacon tower.  The beacon tower will alert  you of incoming  armies, and can give you  enough time to prepare to defend  your city.

In conclusion, the  fighting  in Evony is very  sophisticated, and  quite   enjoyable.  Understanding  the basic  abilities necessary  to defeat  your  enemy is very  important, and the more time that you spend dedicate to battling , the more and more you will  become addicted to  Evony.  Very few online, free games offer the  delight and  joy that is found when  fighting  in Evony.

Play Race Car Games – Where to Download and Play Car Racing Games?

Video games today have become too complicated for the taste of old-school gamers. The games that have been getting much attention are those that actually require you to play long hours and you still won’t get to the bottom of things. Thirty hours of playtime and you still are barely scratching the surface. Perhaps the complexity of the video games today satisfies the need for more challenging games. This is quite understandable considering that majority of gamers are young and it takes a really engaging game to keep their attention. Anything less than complex is bound to be removed from their playlist. While the new games are raking in millions, there’s one game genre that continues to be popular despite the relatively simpler game mechanics. If you play race car games, then you know how very addictive they are. Sure, it’s just a game where you need to race to the finish line, but it takes mad skills to do that. Not everyone is gifted in the ways of car driving and wheel maneuvering, whether in real life or in virtual life. The great thing about the car racing genre is that regardless of how old the game is, people will always have the urge to try the game. It takes little to no prodding to make them race with another player.

The thrill of being behind the wheels of a souped-up car gives a feeling of invincibility. Besides, it’s the safest way to enjoy racing without having to worry about injuries in case of a fatal crash. Another appeal of the genre to those who play car racing games is that they can choose the types of cars that they can’t get in real life, no matter how hard they try. Owning a race car even in the virtual world is treated quite an accomplishment. If you are just starting to play race car games, you will realize the various types of games you can choose from. Old school gamers find comfort in the arcade-style of games. They may be graphically inferior from the new games of today but they are still quite fun to play. The thrill of playing arcade-style racing games is in the ability to race with other players using multiplayer options. It doesn’t matter if you play with a real person or a computer, the point is that the game is a competition and your main goal is to get to the finish line first. Gamers who had no interest in arcade-style games had a change of heart when they start to play car racing games that mimic their favorite race car drivers in the Formula One, NASCAR, and similar franchise. With race cars getting the professional treatment, the car racing game genre has started to enjoy immense popularity.
